This year again, the "Stein-im-Brett-Award", also known as the Highperformer Award, was presented for outstanding performance in project work for the third time as part of our Future Dialog.
Normally, the award ceremony takes place physically. Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, we set up the format digitally, which did not diminish the excitement and joy! Qian Tang works at our location in Cologne as a consultant specializing in green building and energy & technology and was able to present a particularly successful performance with 136% target achievement. She thus replaces the previous top performer Markus Henning, who was crowned in 2019.
The second place was taken by Ferdinand Karnoll, consultant specializing in facility management with 129%, closely followed by Tanja Agatz, consultant specializing in facility management and green building with 125%. Both are based at the Bamberg location.
Congratulations on this great achievement and thank you for your contribution to our company's success!
By the way: the saying "einen Stein im Brett haben" goes back to the 16th century. At that time, a certain board game called Wurfzabel was played, the goal of which was to occupy two squares next to each other with one's stones. If you had a "good stone in the board" you could increase your chances of winning. From this developed today's meaning of being a good friend to someone who stands by your side, like one stone to another.
