SKOffice - New construction of two office buildings in Dortmund 

Alpha IC was commissioned by HARPEN OM 9 GmbH for the new construction of two SKOffice office buildings in Dortmund. From October 2021 to 2024, Alpha IC's energy efficiency experts provided services in the field of energy design & simulation. 

The experts took care of the preparation of “commercial confirmations for the application” (gBzA) for the subsidy application and supported the application for subsidies for energy-efficient construction. Alpha IC was also responsible for monitoring the professional implementation of the planned energy efficiency measures during the construction phase, carrying out site inspections to check compliance with the construction specifications and identifying and rectifying potential errors at an early stage. On completion of the construction work, a “commercial confirmation after completion” (gBnD) was drawn up and compliance with the minimum technical requirements for the targeted energy level was confirmed. 

The involvement of an energy efficiency expert ensures that the new office building meets the high standards of energy efficiency and that the benefits of an energy-efficient building can be enjoyed in the long term.
